Virginia Johnson

Virginia Johnson is a Canadian textile designer and illustrator. A graduate of Parsons School of Design and a former designer for Helmut Lang, Virginia Johnson’s first collection was introduced in the Spring of 2002. The collection is influenced by her travels to places like New Zealand, India, Mexico, and France. Virginia also draws inspiration from her native Toronto. The textile designs are first created by Virginia using watercolor paints on paper before they are interpreted onto cloth. Each piece is truly an original.
